Our Responsibility
At F9, we integrate our responsibility goals with growth and the continuous development of our business. We believe this is the most effective way to advance corporate responsibility. In our company, responsibility is realized through collaboration and proactive action, where results are not just expected but actively achieved with a positive approach.
Our company values and the “F9 Way” operating culture built on them form the basis of our operations.
Responsibility is reflected in our everyday actions and ultimately realized at the individual level, which is why our culture plays a central role in our approach to responsibility.
Our responsibility policy supports practical work and provides direction for our efforts.
It helps us put our principles into practice in decision-making and daily operations.
Actions Speak
Climate Action Based on Science
We are committed to reducing our own CO₂ emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative. In addition to our verified 42% SBTi reduction target, we have set an ambitious goal of
cutting emissions by 80% by 2030 (baseline year 2021). This target was set after our SBTi commitment and reflects our desire to go further. In 2024, our own emissions were 110 t CO₂,
which means we have already reduced our emissions by 38% compared to 2021 levels.
* The Science Based Target is an international climate goal with an emissions reduction target that is consistent with scientific research and the 1.5 °C warming limit set by the Paris Agreement.

Circular Economy in Action – Making an Impact with Refurbished Devices
Our climate work goes beyond reducing our own greenhouse gas emissions. The most effective way we can make an impact is by developing our product portfolio in a more climate-friendly
direction. In summer 2024, we became the first IT distributor in Finland to introduce refurbished computers to the market on a large scale.
Most of a computer’s lifecycle CO₂ emissions are generated during manufacturing. By selling a refurbished product, we avoid the negative environmental impacts caused by producing a new
device. At the same time, we provide our customers with new business opportunities that support sustainable development.
Our offering of refurbished devices has been very well received, and its positive impact on the climate has exceeded expectations. During the first year of sales, the avoided emissions (908 t CO₂)
were equivalent to the amount generated by driving an average car around the world up to 130 times*.
* Based on an average fuel consumption of 7.5 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions of 2.35 kg per litre of gasoline.
Supporting Society – Our Contribution to the Common Good
We create value for all our stakeholders, including society, which we support both directly and indirectly in many ways. In the 2024 financial year, we paid and remitted a total of €42.2 million in taxes, forming our tax contribution. In this way, we take concrete responsibility for the well-being of society and our common future.

Well-being
For us, responsibility also means social responsibility, as the well-being and professional development of our employees are cornerstones of our operations. We invest in safe
working conditions and provide everyone with opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive.
We support continuous learning by enabling the balance of studies and work through flexible working hours, study leave, and apprenticeship programs. We also offer summer jobs and
internships for young people and students. Our employees receive diverse training opportunities through various online learning platforms, and we support their career development within the company.
Employee well-being is promoted through comprehensive occupational health services, sport benefits, and subsidized meals. Additionally, we organize regular staff events,
as togetherness and community are important to us.
Our company is continuously growing, and our employees stay with us for the long term. They enjoy their work, thrive, and find new career paths within the company. Our employee turnover
rate is only 2%. We believe that long-term employment is the result of our investments in well-being, learning, and community, and it is also proof that responsibility is reflected in our everyday operations.

Our Responsibility Focus Areas
We have selected the UN Sustainable Development Goals that are most relevant to us – those where we can make the greatest impact and that are reflected in our operational environment.
Clearly defined focus areas integrate sustainability into the core of our business. On a practical level, this is reflected in our everyday actions. These actions are guided by “The F9 Way,” a culture that emphasizes taking initiative, working together and maintaining a positive attitude. Our company is known for getting things done, not just talking about it, and this is also clearly reflected in our approach to sustainability.
We Act Responsibly with Strategy and Impact
We make analytically grounded choices that support sustainable development and long-term value creation. We aim to respond to environmental, social and economic challenges through concrete actions that generate value now and in the future. Our approach to sustainability is built on three complementary focus areas: environmental responsibility, social responsibility and economic responsibility.
